What Pocketsflow and Stan Store cost each month

Stan Store's Creator plan costs $29 a month, or $300 a year, and Creator Pro costs $99 a month, per Stan's pricing guide read November 1, 2026. Stan adds no fee per sale, but each payment still pays the card processor; Stripe's standard rate is 2.9% + 30¢ for a domestic card. Pocketsflow charges no monthly fee and takes 4.7% + $0.30 per sale, with processing included. The chart uses the same math as the Pocketsflow vs Stan page: $50 sales to US buyers on Stan's Creator plan.

At $500 a month, Pocketsflow takes $26.50 and Stan takes $46.50. At $10,000 a month, Pocketsflow takes $530 and Stan takes $379. The Stan number leaves out sales tax: Stan's pricing page lists no tax handling, so a seller with buyers in the EU or in many US states files that tax separately. Pocketsflow's Volume plans, for sellers over $50,000 a month, lower the platform fee to 1% or 0.5%.

Features: what each plan includes

Stan Store's Creator plan includes a storefront, calendar booking, analytics, a course builder, subscriptions, lead magnets, a community and Stan AutoDM for Instagram. Discount codes, upsells and order bumps, affiliates, email broadcasts and flows, and pixel tracking need Creator Pro at $99 a month. Pocketsflow sells digital products, courses, subscriptions and software on every plan, with discount codes and tax handled. Email campaigns are part of Pocketsflow's email plans, from $15 a month, and order bumps and affiliates are on its Growth plan.

Selling worldwide: tax and payment methods

Pocketsflow is the merchant of record, so it adds the right sales tax or VAT for the buyer's country at checkout, files and pays it, and handles chargebacks. Buyers see local methods such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and iDEAL. Stan Store connects your Stripe or PayPal account, and Creator Pro adds Afterpay and Klarna; the tax on those sales is yours to register for and file.

When Stan Store is the better choice

Stan Store fits creators who sell mostly to US buyers and already make more than about $1,600 a month: the flat $29 costs less than a percentage at that size. Stan also fits coaches who want calendar booking inside the store, and Instagram creators who want Stan AutoDM to answer comments and messages with a link.

Moving from Stan Store to Pocketsflow

Pocketsflow imports a Stan Store from its CSV exports, because Stan has no API import. Export your customers and email list from Stan's Customers page and your orders from its Income page, add a CSV with your product names and prices, and upload them in Pocketsflow's importer. Stan's exports carry no product files, so each product arrives marked "file needed" until you upload the file, unless your CSV has a file link column. See the Pocketsflow migration page for each step.

When Pocketsflow is the better choice

Pocketsflow fits creators who are starting out and do not want a monthly bill before the first sale, and anyone with buyers outside the US who does not want to handle VAT. Pocketsflow is also the choice for creators who want an AI to run the store: its MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor create products, open checkouts and read sales from a chat.
