// faq
Yes. With the paid newsletter on Growth and up, you choose post by post whether everyone, free subscribers only or paid subscribers only can read it, and a paywall block sets where the free preview ends.
Yes. Set the product to Pre-order: buyers pay now at the normal price, and the book unlocks on the release date you set. Or start with a waitlist that collects emails.
PDF stamping, on Starter and up, prints the buyer's email, order number and date on every downloaded PDF, so a shared copy says whose it is. Download limits on Growth cap how many times it can be downloaded.
Yes. Bring your subscribers over as a CSV on any plan, and list your ebooks in minutes. On Volume, the import also brings customers and purchase history from Gumroad after a dry run you review.
Selling never needs a plan. Email campaigns, automations, reusable templates and open and click analytics are part of the email plans, from $15 a month for 3,000 subscribers and 10,000 emails. Each plan includes three to four emails per subscriber a month, and addresses that bounced or reported spam are skipped automatically. The free plan keeps up to 1,000 subscribers. See the pricing page for every tier.
No monthly fee to sell. Each sale carries one transaction cost, 4.7% + $0.30 estimated (about $0.58 on a $6 sale), covering the platform, card processing, sales tax and VAT handling and dispute prevention, itemized on every order. In the worked example on this page, you keep $297.60 more a month than on Gumroad and $82.50 more a month than on Lemon Squeezy. Selling $50,000 or more a month? The Volume plans lower the platform fee to 1% or 0.5%.
