Common questions.
What billing intervals are supported?
Weekly, monthly and yearly. To offer both monthly and yearly, publish two subscriptions and let buyers choose. Many sellers price yearly at about ten months of the monthly price.
How do free trials work?
Set the trial length in days. The card is collected up front, the subscriber has full access during the trial, and the first charge runs automatically when it ends. Cancel before then and nothing is charged.
Can subscribers manage their own plan?
Yes. Every subscriber gets a portal link in their activation email where they can update their card or cancel without emailing you.
What happens when a renewal fails?
The subscriber moves to past due and the charge is retried. If the retries succeed they go back to active; if not, the subscription ends. Each step fires a webhook so your app can react.
Can I pause someone's subscription?
Yes. Pause stops collecting payments while the subscriber keeps their access, and resume picks billing back up. You can do both from the dashboard, the API or your AI.
Can I sell one time products and subscriptions together?
Yes. Both live in the same account with the same checkout, payouts and audience, and renewals show up as orders next to one time sales.
What does it cost?
No monthly fee and no setup fee. Each sale carries one itemized transaction cost, 4.7% + $0.30 estimated (about $5.00 on a $100 sale), covering the platform, payment infrastructure, tax handling and dispute prevention. Above $10,000 a month in sales, talk to us about reduced fees.
Who handles sales tax and VAT?
Pocketsflow is the Merchant of Record. By default it calculates, collects and remits eligible sales tax and VAT on every sale, handles fraud checks and chargebacks, and sends the buyer an invoice. You can also choose to remit tax yourself in Settings, Taxes.
Can my AI do this for me?
