How to Send Pocketsflow Emails and Newsletters With AI

Chain6 min read

Apply it with your AI

You send Pocketsflow emails and newsletters with AI by connecting Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Pocketsflow's MCP server and asking in plain words: "write a newsletter about my new course and send it to my list". The AI drafts the post with create_post and sends it with send_post, and Pocketsflow gives it 30 email tools in all.

Writing drafts is free on every Pocketsflow plan. Sending a campaign needs an email plan, from $15 a month as of November 2026, and segments, resends and subject tests need the Growth plan.

The Pocketsflow email tools, group by group

Pocketsflow's MCP server sorts its email tools into five groups. The Newsletters group holds the everyday tools: write, edit, send and read your subscribers. The other four add targeting, follow ups, paid posts and signup forms.

How to send a Pocketsflow newsletter with AI

  1. Create a free Pocketsflow account, or sign in to the one you sell with, and verify your sender email in the newsletter settings. Pocketsflow refuses every send until the sender is verified.
  2. Add https://www.pocketsflow.com/mcp to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP app as a connector, sign in to Pocketsflow and click Allow access. Pocketsflow creates an API key named "MCP: <app>" for the connection.
  3. Ask the AI to write the post. It calls create_post and leaves a draft in your dashboard.
  4. Read the draft. Ask for changes; the AI calls update_post.
  5. Say "send it". The AI calls send_post, and Pocketsflow sends the post to the audience you chose.

Pocketsflow's send_post sends right away and cannot be undone, so ask the AI to show you the subject, the audience and the first lines before it sends. A post that belongs to an automation is sent by the automation only, never by hand.

Prompts that work with Pocketsflow email

  • "Write a short newsletter announcing my new presets pack, with a link to the product. Save it as a draft."
  • "Send that draft to everyone who bought my editing course."
  • "Email anna@example.com and tom@example.com that the live session moved to Friday."
  • "List my last five sent posts with their subject lines."
  • "How many active subscribers do I have, and how many joined this month?"

Pocketsflow's send_email is for a few named people, like a customer who asked a question. It skips anyone who unsubscribed from you and any address that bounced or reported spam, and it says which addresses it skipped.

Pocketsflow email plans and monthly sends

Pocketsflow never charges a monthly fee to sell. Email campaigns, automations, templates and open and click analytics come with the email plans. The Free plan keeps your list and allows 4,000 emails a month for direct sends; Starter at $15 a month allows 10,000, as of November 2026.

Growth at $49 a month allows 40,000 emails. When a send would go past the month's allowance, Pocketsflow refuses it and the AI tells you which plan covers it. See every tier on the Pocketsflow email pricing page.

Segments, resends and subject tests on Pocketsflow Growth

Pocketsflow's Growth plan adds the targeting tools. The Segments group has 5 tools. A segment is a saved rule set: bought or did not buy a product, total spent, bought within a time window, opened or clicked recently, a tag, a country or how the contact joined. Ask the AI to run preview_segment first, so you see the size before you save it.

  • "Make a segment of buyers who spent more than $100 and opened an email this month."
  • "Send my launch post only to that segment."
  • "Resend last week's post to people who did not open it, with a new subject line."
  • "Test two subject lines on part of the list and send the winner to the rest."

Pocketsflow's resend_to_non_openers schedules a second send, with a new subject, to the people who did not open the first one. Pocketsflow's start_subject_test sends two subjects to a slice of the list and sends the one with the higher open rate to everyone else. Reading a resend and cancelling one work on every plan.

Paid newsletters with Pocketsflow and AI

Pocketsflow's Paid newsletter group has 5 tools. On Growth, the AI can set a post's audience to free or paid subscribers with set_post_audience and mark the free preview. Pocketsflow's get_newsletter_stats reads your paid newsletter numbers, such as paying subscribers and monthly revenue, on every plan. To set one up, read how to start a paid newsletter.

What stays in the Pocketsflow dashboard

Pocketsflow keeps a few email steps in the dashboard: verifying your sender address, building automations, and choosing a plan. When the AI hits a locked feature, Pocketsflow answers with a clear upgrade message instead of a silent failure, and the AI passes on the link. For every other tool group, read what Pocketsflow MCP can do, see the Pocketsflow email marketing page, or start at the Pocketsflow MCP page.
