Kajabi Pro adds a branded mobile app, 3 websites and 3 communities. Selling worldwide: tax with Pocketsflow and Kajabi
Pocketsflow is the merchant of record, so it adds the right sales tax or VAT for the buyer's country at checkout, files and pays it, and handles chargebacks. Kajabi's pricing page lists card processing by country but says nothing about Kajabi filing sales tax or VAT for you. A Kajabi seller with buyers in the EU, the UK or many US states should plan to register and file that tax, or pay someone to do it.
When Kajabi is the better choice
Kajabi fits course creators who already sell more than about $9,950 a month and want one subscription to cover the website, email, funnels and community. Kajabi also fits creators who want their own app in the App Store, which Kajabi Pro includes, and teams who run several brands from one account.
When Pocketsflow is the better choice
Pocketsflow fits creators who want no monthly bill before the first sale, anyone with buyers outside the US who does not want to handle VAT, and sellers with more than 5 products who would need Kajabi Growth at $249 a month. Pocketsflow is also free to try with real sales, not a trial clock. See the Pocketsflow pricing page for every plan.
Moving from Kajabi to Pocketsflow
Pocketsflow imports a Kajabi store from CSV files. Export your contacts and payment history from Kajabi, add a CSV with your product names and prices, then upload them in Pocketsflow's importer, which matches columns by name and shows a dry run before anything is written. Course videos and files move by hand or through a file link column. The Pocketsflow migration page covers each step, and the Kajabi migration guide lists what to move first.
