How to Migrate From Payhip to Pocketsflow, Step by Step (2026)

Chain8 min read

Apply it with your AI

To migrate from Payhip to Pocketsflow, export your customers and your subscribers from Payhip as CSV files, list your products in a short CSV, and upload them to Pocketsflow's importer. Your products arrive as drafts, your customers keep their purchase history and nobody is emailed. Then publish, move memberships, and archive your Payhip products instead of deleting them. Pocketsflow's team will also do the move for you, free, on any plan.

Payhip has no bulk product export, so products come from a short CSV you write: Name, Description, Price, and a Download URL column if your files have public links. Coupons, affiliates, reviews and your Payhip page design do not come over.

Step 1: Export your Payhip customers

In Payhip, open the Customers page and click Export. Leave the filters wide so every order is included, then click Start Export. The CSV has a row per order with the buyer's email, first and last name, the gross amount, the items in the cart and the date. Pocketsflow's importer matches Email, First Name and Last Name on its own; in the Review step, point Product at Items in Cart and Amount at Amount Gross.

Step 2: Export your Payhip subscribers and members

  1. Email list: open Customers, then Subscribers, and export the list as a CSV. Followers live under their own Followers tab, which exports the same way.
  2. Members: for each membership or course, open the product, then its Members tab, and export. The CSV lists each member's email, plan and status, which you use to invite them in step 5.

Pocketsflow keeps each contact's consent and never emails anyone during the import. Addresses that unsubscribed or bounced stay that way.

Step 3: Run the Pocketsflow importer

  1. In Pocketsflow, open Import under Catalog in the sidebar and choose Another platform.
  2. Upload the customers CSV, the subscribers CSV and your products CSV.
  3. Review: check the matched columns, set Product and Amount as above, and fix any flagged row.
  4. Dry run: see what will be created, what is already there, and what is left out.
  5. Import: it runs in the background, resumes if interrupted and never creates anything twice.
  6. Report: counts per kind, the products that need a file, and a CSV of every row to check.

Each CSV can be up to 10 MB and 50,000 rows. The self-serve importer is part of the Volume plan. On any other plan, send us your store link and Pocketsflow's team runs the same import for you, free.

Step 4: Upload files and publish on Pocketsflow

Open each product marked "file needed", upload its file, check the price and publish. Imported products stay drafts until you do. Then update your links: website buttons, link in bio and email footers.

Step 5: Move Payhip memberships

Card details cannot move between platforms, and Payhip's help center has no way to transfer subscribers, so each member signs up again.

  1. Create the subscription product on Pocketsflow. Recurring subscriptions work on every plan.
  2. Email the members from your Members export the new link and a switch date.
  3. On Payhip, open the Subscribers dashboard, click the three dots next to each subscriber and choose Cancel Subscription, so nobody pays twice.

Step 6: Archive on Payhip, do not delete

Payhip says a deleted product cannot be restored and its customers lose access to it, and deleting the account loses all your content and products. Archive each product instead: it leaves your storefront but stays in your account, so past buyers are not cut off. Keep the Payhip account until every buyer you care about has what they paid for.

What leaving Payhip saves each month

Payhip charges 5% on Free, $29 a month plus 2% on Plus, or $99 a month on Pro, and Stripe or PayPal processing comes on top on every plan. Pocketsflow charges 4.7% + $0.30 with processing included. The chart takes the cheapest Payhip plan at each level, for $25 sales to US buyers, using the fee calculator math:

At $500 a month, Payhip Free Forever costs $45.50 and Pocketsflow $29.50. At $2,500, Payhip Plus costs $181.50 and Pocketsflow $147.50. Above about $5,500 a month on Payhip Pro, Payhip costs less, so a big Payhip seller who already pays $99 a month should weigh that.
