How to Migrate From Stan Store to Pocketsflow, Step by Step (2026)

Chain8 min read

Apply it with your AI

To migrate from Stan Store to Pocketsflow, download your Income CSV from Stan, list your products and prices in a simple CSV, and upload both to Pocketsflow's importer, which creates your products as drafts and your customers with their purchase history, without emailing anyone. Then add each product's file, publish, cancel your Stan memberships by hand, and cancel Stan last. Pocketsflow's team will also do the move for you, free, on any plan.

Stan has no API for imports, so a Stan move to Pocketsflow is CSV only. Stan's exports carry no product files, and Stan's help center has no product export, so products come from a short CSV you write yourself. Calendar bookings, Stan AutoDM, discount codes and your store design do not come over.

Step 1: Download your Stan Income CSV

In Stan, open the Income tab and click Download CSV. Pocketsflow's importer reads Stan's income columns: order date, product, customer name, customer email, amount, status and order ID. Every buyer in that file becomes a customer in Pocketsflow, with each purchase saved as history. Sales paid through PayPal do not show their fees in the Income tab, but the orders still come over.

Step 2: Save your email list and products

  1. Email list: people who joined through a lead magnet but never bought are not in the Income CSV. Export them from your Customers tab if your Stan account shows an export there; if it does not, ask Stan support for your contact list as a CSV with name and email.
  2. Products: make a CSV with one row per product and the columns Name, Description and Price. Add a Download URL column with a public link to each file if you have one, and Pocketsflow downloads the file for you.
  3. Files: keep a copy of every PDF, video and template you sell. Courses you rebuild on Pocketsflow lesson by lesson.

Step 3: Run the Pocketsflow importer

  1. In Pocketsflow, open Import under Catalog in the sidebar and choose Stan Store.
  2. Upload the Income CSV, your products CSV and your contacts CSV.
  3. Review: Pocketsflow matches the columns and flags every row with a problem. Fix a column if needed.
  4. Dry run: see what will be created, what is already there, and what is left out.
  5. Import: it runs in the background, resumes if interrupted and never creates anything twice.
  6. Report: counts per kind, the products that still need a file, and a CSV of every row to check.

Each CSV can be up to 10 MB and 50,000 rows. Past purchases never count as new revenue, and nobody on your list is emailed. The self-serve importer is part of the Volume plan; on any other plan, send us your store link and Pocketsflow's team runs the same import for you, free.

Step 4: Move Stan memberships without double charges

Stan does not cancel memberships on its own when you leave: cancelling your Stan account or deleting the membership product leaves every member being charged. Card details cannot move, so each member signs up again.

  1. Create the subscription product on Pocketsflow. Recurring subscriptions work on every Pocketsflow plan.
  2. Email your members the new link and a switch date.
  3. On Stan, cancel each member: Customers tab, open the customer, the three dots next to Subscriptions, Cancel Subscription. This stops future charges but does not refund anyone.

Step 5: Publish on Pocketsflow, then cancel Stan

Upload a file to each product marked "file needed", check prices, publish, and point your link in bio to Pocketsflow. Only then cancel Stan: Settings, Billing, Cancel Subscription. Your Stan store stays usable until the end of the billing cycle, and Stan keeps your store data if you come back. Buyers keep access to courses they bought on Stan as long as those courses stay saved in your account, so do not delete them.

What leaving Stan Store saves each month

Stan Creator costs $29 a month, and every card sale still pays Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30. Pocketsflow has no monthly fee and charges 4.7% + $0.30 with processing included. For $25 sales to US buyers, the same math as the fee calculator:

At $250 a month, Stan costs $39.25 and Pocketsflow $14.75. At $1,000, Stan costs $70 and Pocketsflow $59. Above about $1,610 a month of US sales, Stan's flat fee costs less, so moving pays most for creators who are growing or sell abroad, where Pocketsflow also handles sales tax and VAT.
